Prestigio Plus Straight Grab Bar | Designer ADA Bar

A straight grab bar that doesn't look like a grab bar. The Prestigio Plus mounts on a hidden cylindrical peg instead of the usual visible flange and screws, so what you see on the wall is a clean bar with polished chrome ends — closer to a towel bar than hospital hardware.

The bar is 1¼ inches around, an easy width to wrap a hand around, and the peg locks onto its wall mount with a set key so it stays put. You pick the finish to match the room: satin or polished stainless, warm white, or matte black. The shorter lengths (12" through 32") hold 450 pounds; the 36" and 42" hold 265. Hardware for wood-stud mounting comes in the box.

Why we chose this: Most people want support that doesn't announce itself, and this is the bar we reach for when someone cares how the bathroom looks. It's ADA-rated and genuinely strong, but it reads as design, not equipment.

Installation & detailed specifications

The Prestigio Plus uses a flangeless cylindrical peg mount. The peg fastens to the wall and the bar slides over it, locking in place with a set key, so there are no exposed flange screws on the finished bar. Mount into wood studs or solid blocking; hardware for wood-stud installation is supplied. Length is measured center-flange to center-flange, and the bar runs about 4 inches longer end to end.
